    • Remington College – Tampa Campus Grand Opening
      Tampa, FL - August 8, 2008 – Remington College is starting a new chapter in its long history of providing career training for Tampa area students. The school, which debuted as Tampa Tech in 1948, will introduce its new Tampa campus with a grand opening event on Thursday, August 21 from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. A ribbon cutting ceremony will be held at noon.
    • Remington College - Tampa Campus to Hold Open House
      Tampa, FL – (July 31, 2009) – Remington College-Tampa Campus will hold an open house on August 8th to allow community members to see what the campus has to offer. From 10 am to 2 pm, the public can tour the campus, meet instructors, view hands-on demonstrations and learn more about financial aid available for those who qualify.
    • Remington College - Tampa Campus Celebrates Black History Month with Taste of the World
      This February marked the fourth year that Remington College celebrated Black History Month at its Tampa Campus with story, song, and food. The month-long celebration culminated on February 25, as students and staff prepared and shared their cultural dishes as part of an activity called Taste of the World.
    • Giving Back: “Cuts for Kids” a Success at All Nine Participating Campuses
      Congratulations to all of the Remington College campuses participating in our August 2009 “Cuts for Kids” promotion, which offered haircuts at no cost to children aged 17 and under, along with cuts, shampoos, styles, hair coloring, and other services to adults at half the regular price.
    • Remington College Offers Complimentary Haircuts for Kids
      Remington College will offer complimentary back-to-school haircuts for children this summer. The annual Cuts for Kids event will take place on 11 Remington College campuses with cosmetology programs.

    • Ivan Zoot Shows Tampa Cosmetology Students How It’s Done – In Record Time
      Need a haircut in a hurry? Ivan Zoot’s your man. Referred to as “ClipperGuy” and the “Michael Phelps of Barbering,” Mr. Zoot set three individual haircutting world records on August 22 and 23, 2008, for fastest haircut (55 seconds), most haircuts in a single hour (34), and most consecutive haircuts in 24 hours (340).
