• Local police/civic organizations like the East Baton Rouge Parish Sheriff’s Office, the Baton Rouge Police Department and the Baton Rouge Constable’s Office.
• Healthcare/pharmacy providers like LifeShare, HomeInstead, Amedisys, St Elizabeth Hospital, Stancola, United Blood Services, GPS Pharmacy, CVS, and Walgreens.
• Business and professional organizations including Advantage Personnel, Express Personnel, Cox, the Hilton Hotel, and the Baton Rouge Chamber of Commerce.

These Baton Rouge professionals can help you relate your learning to what’s happening on the job front in your community and may even serve as potential employment or networking resources once you graduate.⁽¹⁾

We sponsor the following events at our Baton Rouge college:

• Career Fairs, held twice a year, which include a “dress for success” and mock interview event. These events allow students get to meet business owners/managers who are looking to hire.⁽¹⁾ 
• Bring a Friend to School Days, held twice each year. Students invite friends into the classroom so they can observe what the learning atmosphere is like at our Baton Rouge school.
• Senior Days, held each July for high school graduates who are starting programs at our Campus. These soon-to-be students attend a crawfish boil on Campus and get to meet key staff members and other students.

We also find ways to give back through community efforts like:

• Blood drives, held quarterly and sponsored by United Blood Services.
• Food drives sponsored by the Greater Baton Rouge Food Bank, held every holiday season.
• Bone marrow drives, held once each year.
• Partnerships with local organizations like the Baton Rouge Zonta House and Capital Area Family Violence Intervention Center (CAFVIC).

From students to instructors to staff to department heads, everyone gets involved at our Baton Rouge college.

• Out Director of Admissions gets to know our students individually once they complete the enrollment process. Our students understand that she has an open-door policy and often go to her with questions that may arise as they complete their respective programs.
• Beginning at enrollment, our Director of Student Finance meets with students every four weeks to help them address any issues or concerns regarding financing their education.
• Our Director of Education meets with students during orientation, stops by classes regularly to visit, monitors students’ attendance and academic progress, and helps them address any problems they might be having that would cause them to miss class.
