Our Lafayette College Campus Maintains an Active Role in the Community
On-Campus events at our Lafayatte college have included:
- Blood and bone marrow drives organized by our Career Services Department.
- A program for Black History Month organized by our on-Campus chapter of the National Technical Honor Society (NTHS) and Criminal Justice Society; members of the community are invited to attend.
- A Fall Fun Day.
- A Constitution Day Quiz Bowl sponsored by the Criminal Justice Program.
- Breast Cancer Awareness Month activities sponsored by NTHS, our Remington Order of Cosmetology Students, the American Criminal Justice Society, and our Remington Nightingale Medical Honor Society.
- A Cuts for Kids program organized by the Cosmetology Department. Recently, the Campus was happy to offer more than 400 complimentary haircuts to kids going back to school.

Our instructors are eager to bring their years of in-field experience into the classroom. They have a practical teaching style that our students seem to value and appreciate.

Lafayette College Technical Training Programs
Our Lafayatte Campus is proud to offer these career-focused degree and diploma programs:(1)
- Computer and Network Administration, which helps you prepare for roles in information technology support and network operations.(1)
- Cosmetology, offering you hands-on training in skin, hair, and nail care in a salon-like environment.
- Criminal Justice, which can help to prepare you for a potential career in security, parole, loss prevention, correction or even law enforcement administration.(1)
- Electronic Technology, in which you can get hands-on training in communications, instrumentation, or digital electronics.
- Medical Assisting, which lets you learn and practice techniques like CPR and blood pressure monitoring.
- Medical Billing and Coding, in which you can get hands-on training in medical terminology and coding for medical billing and insurance purposes.
- Medical Laboratory Assistant, covering medical assisting skills as well as the skills necessary for entry-level roles in a laboratory or clinical office.(1)
- Pharmacy Technician, which can show you how to work hand in hand with pharmacists to help mix, measure, and dispense medications in retail, mail-order, or hospital pharmacies, assisted-living facilities, and more.(1)
