Blood Drive Columbia on September 22
Blood – it may all be red, but it’s definitely not all the same. That’s why Remington College is continuing its series of blood drives to recruit more minority blood donors to benefit local residents who need specific types of blood as part of their treatment for sickle cell disease and other blood disorders.

this summer. Students in Remington College
cosmetology programs across the country will provide complimentary back-to-school
haircuts for kids ages 17 and under.

Third Annual “HIV Awareness Day” Enlightens and Informs Students, Staff, and Employees at Columbia Campus
Representatives from the South Carolina Department of Health and
Environmental Control (DHEC) were on hand on Wednesday, March 9, 2011,
to offer free HIV five-minute tests for all interested parties as part
of “HIV Education and Awareness Day” at Remington College – Columbia Campus. The event was coordinated by Medical Assisting Lead Instructor Catherine Hayes-Savage.

The Pharmacy Technician program is designed to teach students the basic

Remington College sent more than 3,000 students back to school looking and feeling their best this summer. The career college provided complimentary back to school hair cuts at the thirteen Remington College campuses with cosmetology departments.

Giving Back: “Cuts for Kids” a Success at All Nine Participating Campuses
Congratulations to all of the Remington College campuses
participating in our August 2009 “Cuts for Kids” promotion, which
offered haircuts at no cost to children aged 17 and under, along with
cuts, shampoos, styles, hair coloring, and other services to adults at
half the regular price.

(September 21, 2009) - Columbia, SC – Remington College-Columbia Campus will hold a grand opening celebration on Thursday, September 24th. The grand opening begins at 10:00 am, with a ribbon cutting set for 10:30 am.

Columbia, SC – (July 31, 2009) – Remington College-Columbia Campus will hold an open house on August 8th to allow community members to see what the campus has to offer.
