Committed to Education and Technical Training
Because we’re smaller than a traditional college, you’ll get to know many of our people on Campus even before you begin your program of study. As a student at Remington College – Columbia Campus, you won’t be “going back to school” by yourself.
During your course of study at Remington College, you’ll find support from:
- Department Chairs of your program.
- Admissions and Career Services staff members.
- The Director of Student Finance.
- The Director of Education.
- The Externship Coordinator and Job Development Specialist.
- The Campus Librarian.
- And, of course, the Campus President.
Plus, your instructors stand ready to support you throughout the course of your learning experience.
We also integrate Career Services into all of our student programs, which helps you to prepare for entry into your field of choice by offering help with job interview preparation, résumé development, and more.(1)
What’s more, the members of our Program Advisory Committee for each program advise us regularly about the quality and relevance of our academic programs, so we can help to ensure that we’re teaching you the skills that are in demand in the marketplace for your field of interest.(1)
Dedicated Faculty at Our Columbia Campus
Our faculty and staff are professionals with experience in – and enthusiasm for – the subjects they teach.
- They motivate “student-first” behavior as often as possible.
- They genuinely care about your success in your chosen program of study.
- And they take the time to learn more about your goals and ambitions.
Recognizing and Celebrating Student Efforts
Faculty and staff also take time out to recognize students for their hard work and dedication to their programs.
Our faculty members nominate students who are excelling to be Student Ambassadors, based on their academic performance and classroom behavior. These student leaders are called on to set the example and exemplify our standards for student conduct.
Students with academic honors and perfect attendance are recognized each month and again at graduation.
We also make it a point to keep in touch with graduates as often has possible and recognize them for their achievements in continuing education and accomplishments in their careers.
