Our 18-month(1) Process Control Engineering Technology associates degree program has an industry-approved curriculum. Taught by experienced process control engineer technicians, the coursework is based on the Center for the Advancement of Process Technology (CAPT) approved curriculum. CAPT is funded by the Advanced Technological Education (ATE) Program, part of the National Science Foundation (NSF).
Not only will you learn from technicians with real-world experience, you’ll work hands-on with simulation models in our lab. Based on the CAPT-approved curriculum, coursework focuses on industry roles and responsibilities; instrumentation drawings and diagrams; equipment startup, operation, and shutdown; troubleshooting, quality control, and continuous improvement; and safety, health, and environmental considerations.
