Several manufacturing and production plants today seek skilled journeymen and women to monitor, control, and troubleshoot instrumentation boards, pumps, compressors, heat exchangers, controls, alarms, and similar specialized equipment.

    If you’re interested in how things work and enjoy mechanical and electrical operations, you can build on those skills and gain the prestige of a degree with Remington College’s 18-month(1) associate’s degree program in Process Control Engineering Technology.     Learn from experienced process control engineer technicians who provide support and help the wheels of industry to function seamlessly. Your coursework focuses on: 

    • Industry roles and responsibilities
    • Instrumentation drawings and diagrams
    • Equipment start-up, operation, and shutdown
    • Troubleshooting, quality control, and continuous improvement
    • Safety, health, and environmental considerations

    You’ll also work with computer simulation models in our skills labs. Core and technical coursework is based on Center for the Advancement of Process Technology(2) (CAPT) approved curriculum.
