    Cuts for Cause set for October 4 - October 8

    Remington College - Baton Rouge Campus is offering $5 hair cuts to raise money for the Susan G. Komen Foundation.

    The program is called Cuts for Cause and will run from Monday, October 4 through Friday October 8. Students in the Remington College-Baton Rouge Campus cosmetology school will provide the hair cuts and all the proceeds will go to the Komen Foundation.

    "We want to help raise money and awareness for breast cancer issues in the Baton Rouge community as part of National Breast Cancer Awareness Month," said Mike Smith, Remington College - Baton Rouge Campus President.

    Appointments can be made by calling the Remington College School of Cosmetology at 225-291-4660. Walk-ins are also welcome. The hours of operation are Monday through Friday from 9:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

    The Remington College Cosmetology Program teaches students the art of hair, skin and nail care through traditional classroom instruction and hands-on training. Students have the opportunity to work with real clients in a salon-like setting. Remington College School of Cosmetology is located at 10551 Coursey Blvd in Baton Rouge.
