Guest speakers from Fry’s Electronics and the North Houston-Greenspoint Chamber of Commerce have visited our business management students, along with other professionals from the local business community and human resources professionals from staffing companies. Our business students also participate in extracurricular events like karaoke and a barbecue cookout in addition to community events like American Red Cross blood drives and Susan G. Komen breast cancer awareness efforts. These events offer opportunities to network with students and with local representatives who may eventually become potential employers.(1) Our graduates have been placed in local organizations including Federal Express, Bank of America, and LBJ Hospital.
