    Resources to Help You Pay for College(1)

    Did you know that most students rely on some form of financial aid to help pay for their education?(2) Some receive grants, others get scholarships and still others take out loans.

    If you qualify, you too might be able to get some financial assistance. Regardless of your situation, you can definitely get help figuring out what options are available to you.

  • Could You Be Eligible for Financial Aid?(1)

    Each student’s needs vary. In order to qualify for different types of financial aid, you will need to meet the following conditions.

    You may have to:

    • Demonstrate financial need.
    • Have earned either a high school diploma or GED (or an acceptable equivalent).
    • Have a valid Social Security number.
    • Be a U.S. citizen (or an eligible non-citizen).

    There may be other requirements as well, so make sure to call to discuss your situation. 

    Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA):

    The U.S. Department of Education uses the Free Application for Federal Student Aid, known as the FAFSA, to determine the types of aid for which you are eligible.

    The FAFSA is completed online. However, if you need assistance completing the application a Remington College Student Finance Associate is only a call away if you need help at any point.

    You can also visit www.studentaid.ed.gov or call 1-800-433-3423 to get information directly from the Federal Student Aid Center.

    • Step 3: Please enter the following school codes on the FAFSA. You can enter these codes on the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) to indicate which postsecondary schools they want to receive their financial application results.
