    Our program in Cleveland includes one lab with three dental chairs and an X-ray area so that you can train in chairside dental assisting, diagnostics, and dental radiology. A second lab contains a variety of dental materials and is set up for dental grinding and impressions. These are the same materials you’d use in an actual dental office, so you get a real feel for what a dental assistant job is like.

    But that’s not all! You also get the chance to participate in a 160-hour externship at a Cleveland-area dental office or clinic, so you can see what goes on daily in a clinic or practice and work with actual patients and staff.(2)
