    At our Cleveland college, two clinical labs are dedicated to our Medical Assisting limited scope X-ray tech training program, in addition to a computer lab and several classrooms.

    Equipment that you'll learn how to use in your classes includes:

    • Two conventional X-ray machines with a Bucky table, a floating table top, and vertical stands.
    • Two computers set up with simulations for digital radiography.
    • A large collection of X-ray films to view X-rays of different parts of the anatomy.

    You'll also receive instruction in universal C-radiation protection and universal infection control measurements.

    Training with the X-ray equipment begins within the first two weeks of classes. Two to six students work in the lab setting at one time, giving everyone in the program ample room and repeated opportunities to practice their learned skills.
