Remington College – Colorado Springs Campus helps to train students for careers after graduation and helps to meet the staffing needs of employers in the Colorado Springs area.(1)

 

Our Mission

At this Colorado career college, our mission is to prepare graduates for entry-level occupations by providing them with hands-on training.(1) To this end, we meet with Colorado Springs area employers regularly to ensure that the training we offer is relevant and in demand. We encourage employers to visit our Colorado Springs college Campus so that they can see our teaching methods, labs, equipment, and amenities firsthand.

On a visit to our Colorado Springs college, you’ll likely see our Criminal Justice students gathering evidence from a mock crime scene, our Pharmacy Technician students learning about prescription medications and how to fill them, and our Medical Assisting students learning some of the skills needed to help operate a clinic. Our interest in and commitment to our students is genuine. In fact, our students and visitors regularly comment on our positive and friendly atmosphere. They also let us know that our level of care and concern is what helps to set us apart.

 

Our Civic Contributions in Colorado Springs

Money magazine has named Colorado Springs one of the best cities of its size in America in which to live. And the faculty and staff at Remington College – Colorado Springs are committed to keeping this one of the best mid-sized cities in America through our numerous civic contributions, including:

  • Volunteering at Penrose Elementary School and the Fourth Judicial District Attorney's office through America Reads.
  • Actively participating in the Greater Colorado Springs Chamber of Commerce and on the Chamber Education and Workforce Committee.
  • Participating in civic organizations like the Sertoma Club.
  • Serving on the Colorado Springs Police Department's Community Advisory Committee, the Board of Directors for ComCor, Inc., and the Advisory Board for the Federal Bureau of Prisons.
  • Serving as a training site for the Colorado State University Extension Service, realtor training, and the Colorado Library Association.
  • Conducting blood pressure screenings, blood drives, and food drives.
  • Serving as a test site for Registered Medical Assisting (RMA) exams.
  • Participating in the annual Senior Citizens Health Fair.
  • Conducting a seminar on Internet safety for grandparents raising grandchildren at Head Start.
  • Hosting the Colorado Association of Internet Professionals meetings.
  • Participating in the annual Foster Children's Day on Pikes Peak.
  • Assisting with Feed the Children, Toys for Tots, and Christmas Unlimited.

 

We foster a caring attitude and encourage our graduates to help us continue making this an even better place to live and watch our families grow. We've been part of the Colorado Springs college educational community for several years, and our graduates have gained employment with the Sheriff’s Office, the Colorado Springs Police Department, Memorial and Penrose Hospitals, and a variety of area healthcare facilities, pharmacies, and businesses.
