Remington College in Columbia, South Carolina is enrolling students for its new Pharmacy Technician diploma program. The Pharmacy Technician program is designed to teach students the basic skills needed for their certification exam and to help gain entry into the pharmacy technician career field. The Pharmacy Technician courses includes classes in pharmacology, anatomy and physiology, dosage calculation and more, all designed to give students the skills they need to apply for entry-level jobs. “The goal of our Pharmacy Technician program is to offer students the opportunity to develop relevant job skills and learn from experienced pharmacy technicians," said Toby Hayes, Remington College - Columbia Campus President. According to the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, employment of pharmacy technicians is expected to increase by 31% from 2008 to 2018.(2) Remington College-Columbia Campus offers several degree and diploma programs.
