    Remington College - Columbia Campus Medical Billing and Coding Program Overview

    Our Medical Billing and Coding school program in Columbia can be completed in as few as nine months and features classrooms and computer labs dedicated specifically to the program. It also offers students easy access to industry-relevant software programs and our on-Campus research library. At the end of the program, students can participate in an externship, where they can learn the job in the field by working alongside other healthcare professionals.(1,2,3)

    Medical Billing and Coding Training 

    We think it's important to provide our Medical Billing and Coding students with experiences and activities that can help round out their learning, such as:

    • Class field trips: Past field trips have included visits to local Columbia River Coders chapter meetings and a tour of the Medical Records and Billing Department at a local hospital.
    • Guest speakers: Our Career Services Department has arranged for several guest speakers to give students helpful information on local healthcare employers, job duties, and more.(1)
    • On-Campus events: Students have participated in local blood drives for the American Red Cross as well as Campus-wide food drives, bone marrow donor drives, team building events, and more.
