As a student at Remington College, your first attempt to obtain a certification is on us! To qualify, you must be an active student in a program that supports certifications, and you are required to pass the course to obtain the supported certification voucher.
It’s important to note, however, that only one voucher at a time is issued to you as a student, and if you let a voucher go unredeemed, you won’t receive another. Similarly, if you fail the certification test, you won’t receive another complimentary voucher for that particular test.
Microsoft and CompTIA certification test vouchers must be requested within 30 days after you complete the appropriate course. (This doesn’t apply to dropped students.)
These exams indicate that you possess the in-depth knowledge, skills, and hands-on computer technician and network administrator experience that can make you an effective employee in IT departments, especially those that use Microsoft technologies.
These certifications can serve as indicators of your technical know-how to possible employers, potentially offering you a competitive advantage in a job search.(1)
