Criminal Justice Instructor Testimonial

Jermaine Johnson, a Criminal Justice instructor at our North Houston Campus, enjoys sharing details about his personal experiences in law enforcement and likes watching his students eyes light up with curiosity and enthusiasm as he offers his explanations. He recalls in particular his life-changing experiences as an officer in 2005, during the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina. Regarding his experiences at Remington College, Mr. Johnson explains how the lectures and hands-on labs work hand in hand and talks about the advantage of our smaller class sizes, stating, “Here at Remington, it’s not the traditional setting, where nobody knows who you are. Every student can learn here.” Mr. Johnson genuinely enjoys sharing his passion for the profession with all of his students.

Criminal Justice Instructor Testimonial

Kevin Begley, a Criminal Justice instructor at our Houston Campus and a long-time veteran of law enforcement, has worked in several areas of the profession and is still active in the field. He enjoys bringing his extensive real-world experience into the classroom every day, whether he is showing students how to examine evidence or how to gather clues, measurements, and other data at a crime scene. “We’ve got a great bunch of students here,” says Mr. Begley, adding that he very much enjoys the chance to interact with them and derives great satisfaction from being able to watch them learn and ultimately succeed in their new careers.
