3 Lives Blood Drive Collects 684 Pints of Blood

Dallas Culinary Students Put Their Skills to Work in a Live Restaurant Setting as Part of Lab Course

Real-world instruction and full-service dining are what’s on the menu during the CA300 restaurant lab course, part of the Culinary Arts associate’s degree program at Remington College – Dallas Campus. Far East meets West at Remington College – Dallas Campus, for Insights on Career Education

On November 2, 2009, three members of the leadership team from Remington College – Dallas Campus met with university officials from China and the Chinese Ministry of Education for an afternoon of dialogue about several aspects of post-secondary education in the United States. Official Winning Schools in "Adopt Our School" Program!

After more than 36,000 votes from parents and public schools eager to fill needs in the classroom, Remington College is proud to announce the winners from its inaugural “Adopt Our School” program. Schools competed for up to $2,000 worth of school supplies of their choice, courtesy of Remington College. Program Perspectives – From Executive Chef Robert C. Bifulco, Culinary Arts Program Chair

Chef Bifulco, who has been with Remington College for almost five years, helped to create the program curriculum and designed the Campus restaurant-lab facility, called “Beginnings.” A hospitality industry professional with more than 40 years of experience, Chef Bifulco holds hotel management degrees from the University of Denver (CO) and Paul Smith’s College (NY). His experience includes tenures as the executive chef for a major worldwide hotel chain and as the general manager of a private club. He is also a master ice sculptor and has achieved national and international recognition for his creations. Formerly a director of the Dallas Chapter of the Texas Chefs Association, Chef Bifulco has been the recipient of numerous hospitality awards as part of that group, including the chapter’s award for Chef of the Year. He is also the two-time recipient of an award for excellence and innovation in post-secondary culinary education by the Center for the Advancement of Foodservice Education (CAFE), in 2007 and 2009.   Read more >

Remington College - Dallas Campus Signs Articulation Agreement with Texas A&M University-Commerce

Remington College - Dallas Campus and Texas A&M University-Commerce signed an articulation agreement this week that paves the way for Remington College graduates to continue their studies at A&M-Commerce. The agreement provides that A& M Commerce will accept the academic course work of Remington College- Dallas Campus students who meet general admission requirements.   Read more >

Remington College Offers Complimentary Hair Cuts for Kids

Dallas, TX – (July 31, 2009) – With the start of school approaching, parents will soon be spending money on backpacks, notebooks, pencils, clothes and other necessities to get kids ready for the new school year. Thanks to Remington College, there’s one thing they won’t have to pay for – a haircut at Remington College. Remington College – Dallas Campus Cosmetology Instructors and Students Thanksgiving Volunteers

On November 25, 2009, two instructors and 18 students from our Dallas Campus Cosmetology Program offered free shampoos and haircuts to the homeless attending a Thanksgiving luncheon in the Oak Cliff area of Dallas. This gathering, sponsored by the Homeless Advocates of Texas (HAT), was held from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Temple of God Church, 3200 S. Ramona Ave., in Dallas.   Read more >
