Amanda P., a Dental Assisting graduate, talks about how she wanted a better life for herself and her children. Says Amanda, “It only took me eight and a half months to graduate from the Dental Assisting Program at Remington College.” She talks about the relationships she developed with her classmates and instructors and how great she felt at having done something that would better her life. “Now I have a wonderful job, and I love it!” says Amanda. She adds that the training she received at Remington College prepared her well for her current position. “I make more money, and I work less hours. My kids deserve a happier mom. And that’s what my career did for me. It made me a happier mom.”
Dental Assisting Program Overview
The program overview video reviews several of the tasks in which Dental Assisting students receive training, such as scheduling appointments, greeting patients, keeping accurate medical records, and assisting with dental X-rays and treatments. The video emphasizes the effective combination of hands-on labs and classroom training offered, along with the externship opportunity, during which students have a chance to experience a dental office environment and work with patients. Cleveland West Campus facilities are featured.
