Earning a dental assisting certification may make a difference in your job search and career prospects after graduation.(1)

In fact, certain states require dental assistants to earn additional credentials or certifications beyond their educational training.(2) Job candidates must also have current certification in cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR).(2) Whether it’s state or national credentials, Remington College strongly recommends that graduates of our Dental Assisting diploma program pursue certifications that may help open more doors to employment.

    Dental Assistant Certificates Available

Remington College encourages all Dental Assistant students to take their certification exam once they complete our program, and we can cover your entire examination fee for your first attempt!(3) And not only that, but CPR certification is built into our core Dental Assisting coursework.

Below are the main certification options available to our Dental Assistant students. If a student decides to pursue more than one certification or requires a retest, the student is responsible for payment and registration for each additional certification and exam.
