Remington College-Nashville Campus is offering complimentary teeth cleanings for people who contribute to the campus drive for school supplies. The effort is part of the “12 Months of Smiles” campaign, an effort to provide low-cost dental services to people in the Nashville area.
Through July 14, the campus will be collecting supplies for local public schools. People who bring a school supply donation – pencils, pens, notebooks, markers, crayons, etc. – will receive a complimentary teeth cleaning. Appointments are recommended. “People in the Nashville area can help out local schools and take care of their teeth at the same time,” said Larry Collins, Remington College-Nashville Campus President. Initial patient registration is required, and costs just $1. Payments can be made by cash or credit card. The Remington College Dental Hygiene Program can be completed in as few as 24-months and in an accredited program designed to prepare students for careers as dental hygienists. Instructors have real world experience in the dental hygiene field and course offerings include Preclinical Dental Hygiene Practice, Oral and Dental Anatomy, Nutrition and Biochemistry and Oral Radiology. The clinic hours are: Mondays: 10:30 am-1:30 pm and 2:00 pm-5:00 pm Tuesdays: 9:30 am-1:30 pm and 2:00 pm-5:00 pm Wednesdays: 8:00 am-12:00 pm and 1:00 pm-4:00 pm Thursday: 9:00 am-12:00 pm and 1:00 pm-5:00 pm The Dental Hygiene clinic will be close for summer break from July 15 through July 31.
