    You have access to two X-ray tables and standing units that include a collimator, 18 view boxes, and two digital X-ray simulators. Wall units are also provided to train in proper positioning for skull, facial, pelvic, extremity, and spinal X-rays.

    Our instructors use various X-ray films to show what various injuries and deformities look like. They also show you how to collimate and adjust light to produce the best possible film.

    In your clinical lab, a digital X-ray simulator allows you to manipulate and view digital X-rays and demonstrate various contrast and density solutions and how they affect the outcome of the film.

    Located in the Medical Assisting X-ray tech (limited scope) lecture room is another digital simulator and X-ray view boxes to integrate lecture and lab as the instructor teaches.
