No prior formal graphic design training is necessary to enter Remington College's Digital Graphic Art Associate of Applied Art Program. Throughout our graphic arts college program offered at our Fort Worth, Texas Campus, we cover the basic principles and theories of graphic design and how to implement them through your work. During our 18-month graphic arts program, your courses cover the fundamentals of graphic design theory and application as well as the graphic arts software programs related to the field. Course topics include:

Many Graphic Design Career Opportunities with Digital Graphic Art Degree

Graduates often pursue careers as graphic designers, productions artists, website designers, or desktop publishers. Graphic arts graduates may decide to work in a design agency environment or open their own graphic design business. In fact, more than 25 percent of graphic designers are self-employed, meaning freelance opportunities are often a viable option for graduates in this field.⁽¹⁾

Graphic designers are essential members of a creative team. Designers implement an artistic strategy to create a tangible end-product for clients. Many times, this will begin with an idea that the designer sketches out. From there, the designer will use specialized computer programs to execute his or her idea in a more comprehensive digital format.
