When you walk through the doors of our Webster college, you’ll notice a vibrant atmosphere of teamwork and encouragement. We're tuned in to the Houston area’s health care and technological industries and we care about our students and graduates. In fact, we believe our caring atmosphere contributed to our college’s designation as one of only 15 schools across the U.S. to receive a 2010-2011 Award of Distinction from our accrediting body.Call or request information to learn more about our Houston area college.

Flat irons, hair spray, and make-up took center stage as the students in our Cosmetology II classes at our Campus in Webster, Texas, held their first-ever “America’s Next Top Model” competition on May 20, 2011. Under the supervision of Cosmetology instructors Heliana Kiessling, Beverly Norton, and Kimberly Parker, this event gave our students at the Houston Southeast Campus a great chance to gain some hands-on practice in styling hair, applying make-up, and modeling.
Students from all three Cosmetology II classes readied their fellow student-models with a variety of looks. Each student had one hour to complete the work on their models. When everyone was ready, they held a mini-fashion show in the breakroom, where the judging by Director of Education Robert Mauk took place. First place and the title of “Top Model” went to student and model Brittany Johnson.
Cosmetology student Amber Lucas said, “My favorite part of the contest was seeing the transformation from a student to a model look. I love seeing a picture and matching the look. I would love for our Cosmetology Program to do this more frequently. We got a feel for the modeling world, smelling hair spray, smelling the flat irons, make-up everywhere. It was the bomb!”
