To ensure that the training we provide is current and in demand, our Houston college Campus is in touch with local employers, who regularly visit our Campus to offer their feedback on our programs, our labs and equipment, our textbooks, and our Campus services

Career Training in Action

A tour of our Houston, Texas college Campus might showcase several of the career training activities we offer. For instance, you might see our Criminal Justice students discussing “the trial of the century”, our Pharmacy Technician students learning about new antibiotics, our Medical Billing and Coding students learning how to manage HMO applications, or our Medical Assisting students learning how to assist with a specific medical procedure.

 

Community Outreach

Remington College – Houston Campus is also actively involved in the community in various capacities, including:

• Active memberships in the Westchase Chamber of Commerce and Houston Better Business Bureau.
• Affiliations with the University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center Blood Bank and the North Harris County Criminal Justice Association.
• Participation in community career fairs.
• A scholarship program for recent high school graduates.
• Outreach to the employment community through a guest speaker program, Program Advisory Committees (PACs), externship programs, and the Career Services Department.
