  • Our Webster, Texas College Hosts Health and Fitness Fair for Local Community

    No cost event features health checks and information

    Remington College in Webster, Texas, will hold a Health and Fitness fair that will feature complimentary health screenings and family-friendly activities. There is no charge for the event, and the public is invited to attend.

    The fair will be held on Friday, May 6, from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm on the Remington College – Houston Southeast Campus, located at 20985 Interstate 45 South in Webster.

    The event will offer several health-related checkups and activities, including:  

    • Proper flossing and brushing techniques from students and staff in the Dental Assisting Program.
    • Blood pressure checks from students and staff in the Medical Assisting Program.
    • Hand massages and nail polish applications from students and staff in the Cosmetology Program.

    Health information will also be provided by several local businesses and non-profit groups, including:  

    • Premier Chiropractic
    • Children Health Insurance Plan
    • Bay Area Turning Point
    • Women, Infants and Children (WIC)
    • American Cancer Society
    • Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program
