Electronics Technician Training Equipment in Westchase Area of Houston

Since our Electronic Technology diploma program in Houston began, we’ve been proud to graduate students who are equipped with the hands-on skills they need to enter the field of electronics and computer technology.⁽¹⁾

Three classrooms at our campus in the Westchase area of Houston are dedicated to electronics technology instruction and hands-on labs.

The 35 Dell Optiplex and Acer computers available to you in our electronics training program are equipped with current MS Office, System Utilities, and Linux software programs.

In our electronics technician school, you’ll also have a chance to earn your CompTIA A+ computer certification as part of the program, which can help you demonstrate your competency as a computer technician.⁽¹⁾

The electronics kit included in your tuition is available to use both during and after your classroom studies. Each kit features:

• A signal generator with which you can build prototypes.
• A triple output power supply, along with adjustable variable output voltages.
• LEDs so you can display output states.

Networking in the Houston Community

Extracurricular activities for the electronics school at our Houston Campus include:

• Regular A+ certification test cram sessions.

Kelly Services and Randstad in Houston have placed some of our electronic technology graduates with Baker Hughes and Hewlett Packard. Our program has also placed graduates with Toshiba. In fact, several of our graduates have returned to our Career Services Department to share their employment experiences and inform us of job opportunities for future Electronic Technology program graduates.⁽¹⁾
