    Houston-Area Medical Assistant School Program

    Wondering how our Medical Assisting diploma program works?

    As a Medical Assistant trainee in Houston, you'll start your labs in the first month (module) of the program, taking turns with other students to assume the role of either clinical medical assistant or patient. This helps you gain perspectives from both sides of the job.

    To help prepare for the work force, you get to wear blue scrubs and train with various types of equipment in your labs, such as:

    • Sphygmomanometers.
    • Thermometers.
    • Autoclaves.
    • Microscopes.
    • Injection modules.
    • Phlebotomy modules.

    Webster Medical Assistant Certification

    Included in the cost of tuition is the first attempt of the Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA) exam. (2,4)

    Medical Assisting program graduates may also be eligible for other certification and licensure opportunities.
