Remington College-Cleveland West Campus has named Jessica Cartagena as Community Outreach Representative for the campus.
Her role in this newly created position will be to highlight the degree and diploma opportunities that the campus provides, especially to underserved communities. “In the Cleveland area, college attainment is extremely difficult for the Hispanic community. I am eager to introduce Remington College as a vehicle to obtain post-secondary credentials,” said Cartagena. Cartagena comes to Remington College-Cleveland West Campus from Avon Products Inc., where she served as District Sales Manager, recruiting and training a large sales team. Cartagena’s prior work experience also includes the National Marrow Donor Program: Be The Match Registry in Cleveland, the Hispanic Urban Minority Alcoholism and Drug Abuse Outreach Program and Program Mejora. Cartagena holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in marketing from Cleveland State University and an MBA from the University of Phoenix. She is a member of several boards and committees, including the American Sickle Cell Association Cleveland Chapter, National Society of Hispanic MBA’s, Young Latino Network, Minority Health Alliance and Hispanic Health Committee.
