  • Training in a Realistic Pharmacy Setting

Since 2003, we’ve introduced students like you to the pharmaceutical field through a mock-pharmacy setting that allows you to practice your new skills by taking turns with classmates to play the roles of patient, pharmacist, and pharmacy technician.

Other classroom and laboratory hands-on experiences include:

    • Mixing and compounding a variety of placebo medications.
    • Calculating dosages.
    • Exposure to aspects of simulated retail or hospital pharmacy operations.

Also, a number of local pharmacies and pharmaceutical businesses serve as externship sites for our Little Rock Pharmacy Technician school. They work directly with our Pharmacy Tech students to provide real-world training, which gives you a chance to practice the skills you’ve been learning about in the classroom.(2)
