Medical Billing and Coding (1)—A Curriculum that Works for You

Our nine-month(2) Medical Billing and Coding Diploma Program is designed to prepare students to become an entry-level coder in medical offices, hospitals, insurance companies, and government agencies. The curriculum covers medical billing systems, fundamentals of anatomy and physiology, HIPAA regulations, and medical terminology. Students also learn industry-standard coding systems and rules (CPT, HCPCS).

A career as a Medical Coder provides an opportunity to work in healthcare without working directly with patients.(3) As with most of Remington’s diploma programs, students receive hands-on instruction from instructors with real-world experience. Plus, with flexible day and evening classes available in select locations, Remington College fits with your busy life.
