In addition to coursework and applied practice, our students have developed bonds with the local criminal justice community. The 2010 class of Memphis Criminal Justice students personally organized a fundraiser for the West Memphis Police Department after two officers were killed in the line of duty.Our criminal justice students’ commitment to their community continued into 2011, when Omega Eta Psi, the Remington College – Memphis Campus chapter of the American Criminal Justice Association (ACJA) hosted a fundraiser to benefit victims of the earthquake and tsunami that devastated Japan.

Our instructors have backgrounds in criminal justice fields, with many drawn from previous positions in organizations like the Memphis Police Department, the Germantown Police Department and the North Carolina Police Department.As a student in the criminal justice program, you will have the opportunity to study many critical elements of criminal justice, including criminology, victimology, security, evidence processing, constitutional and criminal law, and more. You can also practice the skills you learn in our criminal justice lab. For example, you might participate in a mock trial to learn about criminal prosecution, or apply skills like fingerprint analysis as part of your crime scene analysis curriculum.
