    Since beginning in 1987 as a “Southeast College of Technology,” our Memphis Campus has enjoyed its share of growth, expansion, and change.

    Events at Our Memphis College Campus

    Educational and fun events happen often at our college in Memphis! Some top on-Campus events of the year include:

    • Our Business Expo, which gives business students the opportunity to apply the skills they’ve learned during their program of study.
    • Our Health Sciences Talent Show, held after a quarterly break and designed to showcase the many talents of staff and faculty members.
    • Open Mic Nights, another chance for students, staff, and faculty to entertain and be entertained.
    • Motivational Wednesdays, a weekly pep rally for Cosmetology students that is open to everyone and often includes visits from graduates and guest speakers.
    • Our Cosmetology Extravaganza, an opportunity for Cosmetology seniors to showcase their hair and makeup skills.
    • Blood drives and fundraisers for breast cancer awareness.
    • Job fairs.
    • Pinning ceremonies in Health Sciences, awards assemblies, and of course – graduation ceremonies!

    Degree and Diploma Programs in Memphis

    You can choose from these career-focused degree and diploma programs at our Memphis College:

    • Business Office Management, which enables you to understand how today’s businesses run and learn the software, accounting, and management skills that can help make them run efficiently.
    • Computer and Network Administration, which helps you prepare for roles in information technology support and network operations.(1) 
    • Cosmetology, offering you hands-on training in skin, hair, and nail care in a salon-like environment.
    • Criminal Justice, which can help to prepare you for a potential career in security, parole, loss prevention, correction or even law enforcement administration.(1) 
    • Electronics and Computer Technology, offering training in fundamental and advanced electronics, integrated circuitry, microprocessors, and computers.
    • Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning, in which you receive instruction in residential and commercial heating, cooling, and refrigeration diagnostics and repair using the latest tools, gauges, and meters.
    • Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning Professional, which offers you additional training in more complex commercial and industrial systems.
    • Medical Assisting, which lets you learn and practice techniques like CPR and blood pressure monitoring.
    • Medical Billing and Coding, in which you can get hands-on training in medical terminology and coding for medical billing and insurance purposes.
    • Pharmacy Technician, which can show you how to work hand in hand with pharmacists to help mix, measure, and dispense medications in retail, mail-order, or hospital pharmacies, assisted-living facilities, and more.(1) 
    • Criminal Justice Bachelor's Degree, which helps students who may already be working in Criminal Justice or want to advance in their field.

    Credits earned at Remington College may not transfer to another educational institution. Credits earned at another educational institution may not be accepted by Remington College. You should obtain confirmation that Remington College will accept any credits you have earned at another educational institution before you execute an enrollment contract or agreement. You should also contact any educational institutions that you may want to transfer credits earned at Remington College to determine if such institutions will accept credits earned at Remington College prior to executing an enrollment contract or agreement. The ability to transfer credits from Remington College to another educational institution may be very limited. Your credits may not transfer and you may have to repeat courses previously taken at Remington College if you enroll in another educational institution. You should never assume that credits will transfer to or from any educational institution. It is highly recommended and you are advised to make certain that you know the transfer of credit policy of Remington College and of any other educational institutions you may in the future want to transfer the credits earned at Remington College before you execute an enrollment contract or agreement.
