Remington College Microsoft IT Academy
As part of the Computer and Network Administration (CNA) curriculum, you have the opportunity to earn up to five Microsoft certifications through the Microsoft IT Academy. These IT Academy courses are designed to help you earn certifications as either a Server Administrator or an Enterprise Desktop Support Technician.

As an Advanced Microsoft IT Academy member, Remington College offers you the following:

Use of the Microsoft Official Academic Curriculum (MOAC)
MOAC is a complete package of IT Academy learning tools that provides instructors with coordinated textbooks, PowerPoint presentations, standardized lab setups, and much more, so that you can enjoy the benefits of a complete Microsoft-approved learning environment.

Cisco CCNA and CompTIA Computer Support Training
Remington College’s CNA program also includes training in routers and switches as well as computer support. This gives you a great chance to round out your training and gain hands-on experience in non-Microsoft areas using Cisco’s CCNA Network Simulator  and CompTIA's hardware and software support training objectives.

Use of Career Center Portal
The portal provides access to a database of job, internship, volunteer, and other career opportunities for students enrolled in the Microsoft IT Academy. It also includes access to resume-writing help, career tips, newsletters, and other career resources. These valuable opportunities are the result of Microsoft IT Academy relationships with local businesses, the IT community, IT pro user groups, and MonsterTRAK.

Microsoft Certifications and the Added Prestige of a Degree!
Remington College has carefully selected its mix of Microsoft IT certification exams and has integrated that with a comprehensive CNA Program curriculum, so that classes focusing on the Microsoft exams can also count toward earning your degree! While it’s not a requirement for you to pass the Microsoft exams to earn your degree, Remington College highly encourages it. In fact, there is no additional charge for your first exam attempt for each certification, if you meet certain GPA requirements.

Many cost-conscious businesses today recognize the value of an IT degree coupled with Microsoft certification. Why not choose a program that offers you both and can help you stand out in today’s challenging job market? Remington College’s Microsoft IT Academy package presents what we believe is a distinctive program offering in the IT education industry and one that will be well recognized and valued in the workplace.
