Remington College - Mobile Campus

Remington College - Mobile Campus has trained many skilled and professional graduates to help meet the needs of local employers. Our mission is to help prepare graduates for entry-level employment by providing them with practical, hands-on training. To that end, we are in regular contact with area employers to make sure that the training we offer is current and in demand. We invite employers to the Campus to review our facilities and equipment. We also ask for their feedback on courses and programs and on trends in their particular fields.

On any given day, a walk through our Campus might reveal Criminal Justice students in a mock trial session, Pharmacy Technician students learning about prescription medications and how to dispense them, Electronics students soldering circuit boards, Medical Insurance and Coding students filing simulated electronic claims, Medical Assisting students learning some of the skills needed to operate a clinic, and Information Technology students creating local area networks.

At Remington College - Mobile Campus, our staff and faculty members are dedicated to helping you develop the technical and soft skills you need for success in your chosen career field. Our dedication and commitment is evident throughout the halls and classrooms of our Campus. Students and visitors often comment on the positive and friendly atmosphere at the Campus, and many have noted that our care and concern for our students is what makes us different.

Remington College - Mobile Campus is also actively involved in the community. Staff members participate in a wide variety of activities in the Mobile and Baldwin County areas. Our Campus is involved in adult literacy tutoring through Goodwill-Easter Seals. In addition, we participate in Habitat for Humanity, the local Arts Council, and Alabama Citizens for Constitutional Reform. Our Computer Networking Technology students collect and reprogram used cell phones for Phones for Life and the phones are given to senior citizens for emergency purposes. We are also a member of the Mobile County Workforce Planning Council. Our Criminal Justice students have organized a chapter of the American Criminal Justice Association - Lambda Alpha Epsilon, a professional organization for Criminal Justice students. Regularly, you can see the bloodmobile in our parking lot, there to draw blood from our staff and students. Our Campus is also involved in not-for-profit organizations that run science fiction conventions whose proceeds from art sales benefit local charities. Mobicon (Mobile, Alabama) raised $4,500 for the Bay Area Food Bank last year and Coast Con (Biloxi, Mississippi) raised $8,055 for Hope Haven Children's Home this year. Additionally, the Mobile Campus has adopted Shaw High School and has helped them with a number of technical projects. The campus also offers General Equivalency Diploma (GED) preparatory classes at no charge to the public.

Please stop by and explore all the exciting things going on at our Campus. We look forward to seeing you here.
