Remington College-Nashville Campus and the American Dental Hygienists’ Association (ADHA) are partnering to provide local school-age children with dental hygiene tips, as well as a take-home safety kit. Parents, daycare operators, summer camps, non-profit groups and Nashville area clubs are encouraged to bring children out for this one-day event on Wednesday, June 15 from 12-4 pm at the Remington College-Nashville Campus. Participants will also receive coupons for complimentary dental care services at the Remington College-Nashville Campus Dental Hygiene Clinic. Under the supervision of Dental Hygiene faculty, students pursuing associate’s degrees in dental hygiene perform low-cost procedures for the public, including oral prophylaxis, topical fluoride treatments, x-rays, scaling and root planning and dental sealants. “Early dental hygiene education is an essential part of getting kids to develop healthy oral hygiene habits that will last a lifetime,” said Larry Collins, Remington College-Nashville Campus President.
