Even in “The Athens of the South,” as Nashville -- a city of education with 24 post-secondary institutions – is sometimes known, the Criminal Justice degree program at Remington College in Nashville holds its own by hosting National Night Out events and welcoming guest speakers from some of Tennessee’s most critical criminal justice organizations and agencies. Call or request information to learn more about our Nashville Criminal Justice school.
To underscore real-world understanding of criminal justice, the Remington College – Nashville Campus offers services to the local criminal justice community. For example, the Tennessee Bureau of Investigations (TBI) has utilized our laser shot equipment for training; in turn, our students have had opportunities to tour their facility upon request.
Since July 2004, our Nashville Criminal Justice program has emphasized a practical understanding of criminal behavior and the criminal justice system. Instruction includes key topics like corrections, security, handling evidence, crime scene analysis, criminology and forensics. In addition to classroom study, you can get hands-on experience in our five dedicated criminal justice labs, which include a mock courtroom, laser shot simulation room, forensics lab, crime scene lab, and computer lab. This means that as a Criminal Justice student, you’ll have the opportunity to participate in a mock trial to understand how criminal trials and prosecution operates, as well as perform fingerprint analysis in our modern crime scene lab.
