    • Hands-On training 

    The Nashville dental assistant program covers oral anatomy and radiology, chairside dental assisting, patient education, and other specific dental procedures and topics. The Nashville Campus's lab is set up like an actual dentists office and includes three chairs (for the patient, dentist, and dental assistant), a computer, and a dental operating unit complete with a dental assistant's unit. The lab also features an automatic daylight loader for X-ray production, along with equipment designed to assist in constructing dental casts.

    • Complete training In As Few As Eight Months 

    Our Nashville dental assistant program coursework includes a 160-hour externship, where you can polish your skills and get valuable experience in a working dental office or clinic.(2) Most notably, the entire program can be completed in as few as 8 months! The Tennessee Board of Dentistry requires all registered dental assistants to have certification in dental radiology. Upon completing this program, students are qualified to obtain their radiology certification.
