Nashville Medical Assistant Training School Highlights

At Nashville, you begin your medical assisting training in our Campus labs on your second day of class. You’ll take turns assuming the role of patient and medical assistant and role-playing scenarios as if you were in an actual medical office. You’ll also get to practice your skills on simulators and later, on your classmates.

Our program lets you work with several types of healthcare equipment, including:

    • Glucose, hemoglobin, and cholesterol meters
    • Centrifuges
    • Otoscopes
    • Optholmoscopes

Our training features significant lab time to help you grasp concepts and skills, which are reviewed in every module of the program. And an externship during the last part of your program gives you another chance to apply your skills – in an actual work environment!(3)
