REMINGTON COLLEGE ANNOUNCES OPENING OF SHREVEPORT CAMPUS

SHREVEPORT, LA – July 9, 2007 –Remington College is pleased to announce the opening of its newest campus in Shreveport, scheduled for August 2007. The Shreveport Campus, which is accredited by the Accrediting Commission of Career Schools and Colleges of Technology (ACCSCT), will provide technical training in career-focused skills. This location marks the third Remington College campus in the state of Louisiana, joining two other campuses in Lafayette and Baton Rouge.

Remington College – Shreveport Campus plans to offer degree or diploma programs in the following career fields:

  • Business Administration
  • Criminal Justice
  • Medical Assisting
  • Medical Insurance and Coding

Campus President Jerry Driskill states, “We are very excited to be opening a new campus in Shreveport. Our aim is to serve the community and provide students with training and skills for the real world.”

The Shreveport Campus will offer student services such as day and evening training sessions, financial aid and other student financing programs (available for those who qualify), and resumé development and placement assistance through its Career Services Department.

The Campus is located at 2106 Bert Kouns Industrial Loop. Campus hours will be 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Monday through Thursday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Friday, and Saturday from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
