At Remington College, we put a premium on making sure we have modern facilities and well-equipped classrooms and labs, and we know that it is a struggle for many public schools in our campus communities. That's why Remington College donated $2,000 in school supplies to one public school in each area we have a campus. Parents, teachers, faculty and staff of schools vote for the winner and the children benefit! Call or request information to learn how you can become a Remington College student.
The votes are in and Humble High School will receive $2,000 worth of supplies from Remington College - North Houston Campus.
Humble High School received the most votes in Remington College’s Adopt Our School program for the Houston area, an effort by Remington College to assist local public schools with up to $2,000 worth of school supplies. This is the second consecutive year that Humble High School has been the winning school for this Remington College Campus.
The staff at Humble High School has requested classroom supplies ( more than 3,000 each of pencils, pens and highlighters) and newspaper and magazine subscriptions for the library (Houston Chronicle, USA Today, Car & Driver, Time, Newsweek, Texas Monthly, Ebony, Redbook, Teen Vogue and several others). The supplies were presented to the school on May 19, 2011.
“Thanks to Remington College, Humble High School is able to provide periodicals for our library and give supplies to each of our students. We are so grateful for the opportunity to participate in this contest and are thrilled to be the Adopt Our School Winner for 2011!”
