Remington College - Greenspoint Campus Medical Assistant Program Overview We show you not only how to develop your skills and clinical expertise but also how to conduct yourself professionally in the workplace. You begin your healthcare training with instruction in the terminology, policies, and procedures of the medical assisting field, focusing on medical office and hospital settings. You'll get to work on medical practice projects in which you help design a medical office that best exemplifies proper patient flow and staff satisfaction. In your clinical labs, you’ll take turns with your fellow students assuming the role of medical assistant as well as patient to experience the role from both sides. You'll learn the proper way to perform procedures like blood draws/phlebotomy, CPR, vital signs and blood pressure, bandaging techniques, sterile techniques and asepsis, pulmonary testing, and more. Greenspoint Medical Assistant Certification Included in the cost of tuition is the first attempt of the Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA) exam.
