    Little Rock teen to receive scholarship at P.A.R.K. graduation on May 19

    Donald Lemons, a P.A.R.K. graduate, has been awarded a scholarship to Remington College-Little Rock Campus. The $5,000 scholarship is being jointly awarded by Remington College-Little Rock Campus and ClearPointe, a computer network management company based in Little Rock.

    The new scholarship is aimed a rewarding a current student or recent graduate of Positive Atmosphere Reaches Kids (P.A.R.K.). The non-profit group works with academically-challenged students to get their grades up and help them towards the goal of going to college.

    The scholarship was awarded based on academics, attendance and attitude.

    Lemons is currently a student at Remington College-Little Rock Campus, pursuing an Associate's Degree in Criminal Justice. He currently has a 3.3 grade point average and plans to pursue his Bachelor's Degree and a career in law enforcement.

    Lemons will receive his scholarship at the P.A.R.K. graduation on Thursday, May 19 at 5:30 pm, 6915 Geyer Springs Rd. in Little Rock.

    "We congratulate Donald for all his hard work. He's very deserving of this scholarship," said Randal Hayes, Remington College-Little Rock Campus President. "P.A.R.K. is a great program and is responsible for putting so many students on the path to college. We are proud to work with ClearPointe as a partner to provide this scholarship and work with P.A.R.K. to help make college a reality for more students in the Little Rock area."
