Learn the Fundamentals of Physical Therapy

Our 24-month(1) Physical Therapist Assistant associate’s degree program provides training in how to perform selected treatment techniques under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist. The curriculum includes courses in physical therapy fundamentals and assistant procedures, kinesiology, rehabilitation, pediatric physical therapy and more. Coursework also includes the study of medical terminology, pharmacology, anatomy and physiology.

As part of the program, students train with actual patients in a clinical setting with the goal of developing skills in key physical therapy interventions. Once you complete the Physical Therapist Assistant associate’s degree program, you’ll be eligible to take your state board licensure exam.
