Shreveport, LA – (July 16, 2009) - Remington College–Shreveport Campus will receive an award this month from the National Guard for its support of an employee called to serve a long military tour of duty. Deborah Kent is an instructor in the Allied Health Department at Remington College - Shreveport Campus and a Corpsman in the Navy Reserve. Orlando, FL - 1/29/2009 –As Baby Boomers continue to age, the number of older people, who are much more likely than younger people to need nursing care, is projected to grow rapidly. To help ease the nursing shortage in central Florida and provide hands-on training for an in-demand career, Remington College of Nursing, is introducing an accelerated 12-month Bachelor of Science in Nursing program for students who already have earned a bachelor’s or master’s degree in a different field.
