Remington College Set to Begin Cosmetology Program
REMINGTON COLLEGE SET TO BEGIN COSMETOLOGY PROGRAM
HEATHROW, FL - July 30, 2007 – Remington College announces the addition of a Cosmetology Program to its educational offerings. The program is scheduled to become part of the curriculum at our Fort Worth Campus with our July 23 class start.
This 12-month diploma program is designed to prepare graduates for entry-level positions in the specialized arts of hair care and styling, make-up application and facial care, and manicure and pedicure techniques. The Cosmetology Program consists of three major sections, or areas of study, each of which focuses on a basic skill set and includes both classroom instruction and lab work, much of which will be conducted in a working salon.
In keeping with Remington College’s mission of providing “Real Skills for the Real World®,” the Cosmetology Program curriculum provides the opportunity for students to learn on mannequins and practice their skills with real clients in an actual salon setting. “The Salon at Remington” provides a full-service environment that allows students to develop their skills in client care and salon operations as they fine-tune their artistry, eye for precision and natural talents under the supervision of experienced instructors. Students can also work toward accumulating the training hours needed to be eligible for state licensing.

All Remington College locations, including the Fort Worth Campus, strive to tailor their educational offerings to the needs of the surrounding community and offer degree and diploma programs in a variety of career fields. Each campus also offers financial assistance (available for those who qualify) and provides help with resumé development and interviewing skills through its Career Services Department.
