    Remington College - Columbia Campus on Bush River Road is our newest campus. But like the rest of our campuses nationwide, the faculty and staff there have one primary goal: To help make a college education an achievable reality for Richland County adults.

    The Remington College Academic Achievement Scholarship and New Career Success Scholarship programs were created to help you achieve that goal. If you qualify for one or more of these scholarships, the financial aid they provide can be used to help pay the tuition cost of a majority of the diploma programs offered in Columbia.

    South Carolina Scholarship Requirements and Eligibility

    Below is a list of qualifications students need to satisfy in order to be eligible to receive either an Academic Achievement or New Career Success Scholarship.

    Academic Achievement Scholarship - To be eligible to receive this merit-based scholarship, an Applicant must:

    • Have graduated high school in 2008 or later.
    • Provide a high school transcript that reflects a cumulative high school Grade Point Average (GPA) of 3.00 or higher (on a 4.0 scale).
    • Be seeking first-time enrollment, as a new student, in an eligible program at Remington College - Columbia Campus.
    • Successfully complete the Academic Achievement Scholarship Application and submit it to the Financial Aid Department at Remington College - Columbia Campus.

    New Career Success Scholarship -To be eligible to receive this need-based scholarship, an Applicant must:

    • Have a total income as reflected on his/her Institutional Student Information Record (ISIR) that is less than or equal to the Median Family Income in South Carolina. The Median Family Income is obtained from the U.S. Census Bureau's most recent published information.
    • Be seeking first-time enrollment, as a new student, in an eligible program at Remington College - Columbia Campus.
    • Successfully complete the New Career Success Scholarship Application and submit it to the Financial Aid Department at Remington College - Columbia Campus.
