    Scholarships at Remington College in Nashville and Memphis, Tennessee

    Providing hands-on training to college students in Tennessee has taught us a thing or two; namely, that not being able to afford higher education is a primary reason why many students don't pursue college.

    Remington College was founded with the goal of providing relevant, career-focused, and achievable training to students across the United States; therefore, we thought it fitting to offer three scholarships that may help students meet that goal.(2)

    If you qualify for one or more of the Remington College Academic Achievement Scholarship,  New Career Success Scholarship or Career Ready Scholarship programs, the financial aid they provide can be used to help pay the tuition cost of a majority of the diploma programs offered in Nashville or Memphis, Tennessee.

    The academic programs in Memphis and Nashville, Tennessee that participate in the Career Ready Scholarship program are:

    Tennessee Scholarship Requirements and Eligibility

    Below is a list of qualifications students need to satisfy in order to be eligible to receive either an Academic Achievement,  New Career Success Scholarship and Career Ready Scholarship.

    Career Ready Scholarship - To be eligible to receive this scholarship, an Applicant must:

    • Be a civil servant, first responder, law enforcement officer, active military, reservist or a government agency employee.
    • Provide proof of employment from an approved agency at enrollment or at re-enrollment/re-entry and upon completion of the program.
    • Must enroll in a Remington College criminal justice program.
    • Have submitted a Career Ready Scholarship application prior to enrollment.

    Academic Achievement Scholarship - To be eligible to receive this merit-based scholarship, an Applicant must:

    • Have graduated high school in 2008 or later.
    • Provide a high school transcript that reflects a cumulative high school Grade Point Average (GPA) of 3.00 or higher (on a 4.0 scale).
    • Be seeking first-time enrollment, as a new student, in an eligible program at Remington College - Nashville or Memphis Campuses.
    • Successfully complete the Academic Achievement Scholarship Application and submit it to the Financial Aid Department at Remington College - Nashville or Memphis Campuses.

    New Career Success Scholarship - To be eligible to receive this need-based scholarship, an Applicant must:

    • Have a total income as reflected on his/her Institutional Student Information Record (ISIR) that is less than or equal to the Median Family Income in Tennessee. The Median Family Income is obtained from the U.S. Census Bureau's most recent published information.
    • Be seeking first-time enrollment, as a new student, in an eligible program at Remington College - Nashville or Memphis Campuses.
    • Successfully complete the New Career Success Scholarship Application and submit it to the Financial Aid Department at Remington College - Nashville or Memphis Campuses.
