Shreveport, LA – (July 16, 2009) - Remington College–Shreveport Campus will receive an award this month from the National Guard for its support of an employee called to serve a long military tour of duty. Deborah Kent is an instructor in the Allied Health Department at Remington College - Shreveport Campus and a Corpsman in the Navy Reserve. After more than 36,000 votes from parents and public schools eager to fill needs in the classroom, Remington College is proud to announce the winners from its inaugural “Adopt Our School” program. Schools competed for up to $2,000 worth of school supplies of their choice, courtesy of Remington College.
