Collectively, Shreveport’s Medical Assisting faculty members hold or have held degrees and/or certifications in occupations like medical assisting (MA), emergency medicine (EMT), nursing (RN, LPN), education, and respiratory therapy (RT). They also have a wide variety of experience, which has included working in specialty areas like emergency medicine and working in doctors’ offices, on ambulances, and in hospitals.
